Speaking on #JamTrek, Teeblaq whose real name is "Oluwatosin arewa Monday", said he was born and brought up in mushin and still repping the hood presently.
When asked how Music comes in despite studying business administration in school, the Lagos state polytechnic graduate said music runs in his blood and family line taking his cousin "Dagrin" who was an established music act before his death as an example to authenticate his statement.
He further said his mum "use to be a studio engineer way back so I always follow her to studio, so i will say i got inspired to do music since my tender age."
When asked if he had any good time with his cousin when he was alive, he answered positively, "We roll together we play together, And also we do music together during his life time" he also affirmed Dagrin had a big impact in his career.
The 'Gbemileke' crooner said Tuface Idibia is his number one role model while Fela takes the second place, he equally said aside this people, he draws inspiration from things on the street and people around him.
Teeblaq however said his music is what he called "Afro Robo" style which is different from what the conventional hip pop artistes do "and this is what distinguish me from what other artistes do and also my music is more of inspirational song and have got my own style which I know the industry should keep an eye on."
When asked if he expect his "Gbemileke" song that has gone viral will attain the success it achieved while recording and what inspired him to do the song?
The (Eldar Record signee) said "well i was asleep, immediately i woke up, i burst into the studio and I started recording the song and i knew it will be the bomb but I think the inspiration comes from my sleep though."
He took his final shot on the show by telling his fans and family to be expecting great good music from him which would be Inspirational and motivational songs as he's currently a studio rat to bring out new jam for them.
