The Economic Financial Crimes Commission(EFCC) has made known the
reason why he arrested former acting national chairman of Poples
Democractic Party(PDP) Uche Secondus on tuesday.

A source at the Anti-graft agency said he was arrested on Tuesday for
illegally receiving 23 luxury vehicles valued at N310 million from
controversial businessman, Jide Omokore.
"His name popped up while we were investigating Jide Omokore who
lifted crude oil through his Atlantic Energy but failed to remit the
money to FG".
The source said the vehicles included a Mercedes Benz G63 and a Range
Rover Autobiography.
Meanwhile the Peoples Democratic party(PDP) has reacted to the arrest
of his former acting chairman saying the arrest is just a ploy to
decimate the opposition party ahead of the 2019 election
"The party alerts the nation that the arrest and detention of its
Deputy National Chairman, Prince Uche Secondus by the Economic and
Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) is part of the grand script by the
APC-led Federal Government to decimate the opposition." -- Adeyanju

The PDP says Godswill Akpabio and Ike Ekweremadu would soon be arrested.
