NEWS:-BADAGRY STUDENTS ASSOCIATION CONDEMS CUSTOMS OFFICERS ACTIONS

The National Association of Badagry West Student,(NABWES),has condemed the action of Nigerian Customs Service,Officers over the the killing of innocent souls at Badagry Lagos state during a patrol operations.

This was coming after the death of the community indigine was announced in the early hours of today.

TOPUP9JA News, garthed that Customs officers serving at Seme Badagry last Saturday 20th August 2016 was chasing a smuggled car popularly called tokunbo form the border and decided to use ammunition on the running car which led to the release of stray bullet which killed a community member on a spot. 

When narrating the incident to our correspondent through the social Media, the President of the associations Com.Omotayo Samuel, said,"On 20th saturday of august 2016 around 8:30 P.M till down a custom patrol van was chasing a tokumbo(london used car ) from seme to gbaji axis but unfortunately the  custom was about to loss the on the process of chasing the car immediately they started shooting the car until a bullet heat an innocent lotto man in his shop and immediately he fall and die, so the residence of the area raise up for defends of there life as the custom officers continue the shooting and they shoot another four people again and one also die again and other injured victim was taking to the hospital and unfortunately this morning one was announced death in the hospital".

 While speaking on the freedom of the citizens he mentioned,"Our laws that happened to be in our custodian had been doctored over years; and today we are left with justice delayed and justice denied which amount into injustice,murdering of innocents citizens, unfairness, inequity and fabrication of lacunas where there are no lacunas in the law" 

 Samuel,while addressing the community youths he said"I come to speak to the world, I come to all badagry west youths it is high time we stand for the defends of our lives we raise our voice and mantle of struggle for justice"

He however called the youth to be part of peaceful protest "I want to use this medium to call for all youths in Badagry west LCDA for us to come out for peaceful protest to call for justice on our fellow brothers who are brutally attacked and murdered by the Nigeria custom service" he added.
