After the barrage of criticisms that has trailed the 'Budget Of
Change' now tagged 'Budget of Shame' by nigerians, President Muhammadu
Buhari has finally broken his silence over the issue describing it as
'embarrassing and disappointing' he also declare that anybody
involved in the budget padding will not go unpunished.

Speaking with newsmen earlier today President Buhari said "I have been
a military governor, petroleum minister, military Head of State and
headed the Petroleum Trust Fund. Never had I heard the words 'budget
padding'. ... It is very embarrassing and disappointing. We will not
allow those who did it to go unpunished,"
He speaks further "What he gave us was not what was finally being
debated. It is very embarrassing and disappointing."
