#EdoDecides2016: Ize Iyamu Commend INEC on Card Reader

The People's Democratic Party Candidate in the Edo gubernatorial election, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu, on Wednesday praised INEC over the organisation of the polls at his polling unit in Iguododo, Orhiomwon Local Government Area (LGA).

The PDP candidate said the card reading machine was functional and described the elections as peaceful in the areas he visited.

Also notable party stalwart of the People Democractic Party like the former Chief of Staff to President Goodluck Jonathan, Chief Mike Ogiadomhe, secured a victory for the People's Democratic Party in his polling unit at Fugar, Estako Central local government.
The PDP got 308 votes to defeat the APC which got 214 votes.
An aspirant under PDP during her primary General Charles Airhiavbere also led the APC to defeat the PDP in Unit 18, 19, 20 and 21 of Ward one in Oredo local government.

Meanwhile, the Lagos State Government on Wednesday has dismissed allegations made by the candidate of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) in Edo State, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu alleging that Governor Akinwunmi Ambode and his Kaduna State counterpart, Mallam Nasir El Rufai were in Edo State for the election.
